My daughter's eyes

How can I describe it.  My life is blessed.  God is good.

My grandfather once told me "you cannot be good without God."  I asked him what he meant.  He replied by spelling it out for me, "You can't have g-o-o-d without G-o-d."  He was right.  It is impossible to spell "good" without having the letters to spell "God".  It's so simple, yet sometimes I make it so complex.

That's why I believe that children are a blessing.  My daughter looks at life much differently than I do.  She wakes up in the morning so happy be alive.  As a matter of fact, she doesn't want to go to bed at night because she doesn't want the day to end.  In contrast, I can't  wait for the day to end.  Always looking at tomorrow to be my day and next year to be my year.  Why is that?  Don't I know that the perfect day is today, and the perfect time is now.  I guess that's why Jesus said that His kingdom was made up of these (children).  I just have to thank God for letting me look at the world through the eyes of my daughter.  She makes me see how simple and fun life is.  Thanks to God, I found out life isn't drudgery when your looking to play it...rather than to endure it.
