Where am I?

Where am I?  Why am I on this earth?  Those are the questions I had to ask myself.  I thought I had it figured out.  I have a good, reputable and exciting job.  I also started a business on the side.  I thought I knew what direction my life was going.  Praise Jesus that He woke me up from the dream I was having.

My passion is music.  I have been involved in the music business (my side business) for over 13 years.  My plan was to eventually quit my full-time job to pursue my passion.  That statement was made about 8 years ago.  Well, I'm still working full-time at my job and I didn't know what happened to my so called plan.  If I would have acted on the signs that God gave me, I would have been able to quit my job a while ago.  I just didn't listen to God's instructions.  He told me over and over to put Him first in my business rather than the desire of making money.  Nevertheless, I continued to put money making schemes before God's plan.  Finally, after all my business operations failed, I prayed for insight and guidance (Actually, it wasn't the fact that I prayed for guidance. It was the fact that I was ready to listen and accept God's plan).  He told me the same thing.

Yep, put Him first in my business.  Ever since that day, my path is so much more clear.  Not only that.  I feel like there is a purpose and objective to my hard work.  I have to praise His name for constantly putting up with my stubbornness.
