This would make Psalms 118 the center chapter of the Bible.

Add these numbers up (594 + 594) and you get 1188

So, the center verse of the Bible would be Psalms 118:8

Psalms 118:8 reads:

"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."

Have you noticed that a lot of people put their trust in man or manmade things instead of God?

And when things go wrong, they have no idea why.  Stock brokers put their trust in Wall Street.  Pilots put their trust in planes.  But, when it all comes crashing down they call out to God.

Actually, it should be the other way around.  We should be putting our trust in the Lord first.  If the center of the Bible talks about trusting Him, then the center of our life should be based on trusting Him.
